The first semi-final match started in the quick tempo and both teams played from defence. Oberwil opened the score using a power play. Kladno was very active, but without a goal. Everything changed two minutes before the end, when Czech players not only tied, but they turned the score with a quick goal in their favour. Oberwil did not have time to tie and therefore, Kladno qualified into the final game at the very end. The Czech team is the first finalist.
