The last year winner started the match better being more active in the first period and Vlašim took the lead in the 4th minute. However, Slovak team managed to tie one minute later. Vlašim did not rest on laurels and scored again. Czechs had a perfect chance to score after the break and they made use of this opportunity with the 3rd goal. Vlašim continued actively and scored for the 4th time one minute later. Czech players had the game under control and they added one more goal in the 26th minute. Martin tried to change the situation and scored twice one minute before the end, but that was not enough for the victory. The final score was 5:3.
